HUNTERSVILLE, NC—Max Daetwyler Corp. announces the appointment of Roger Heid to the position of CEO for the North American operations.
“Roger Heid brings a wealth of experience to Daetwyler,” stated Ralph Daetwyler, Group CEO. “He joined the U.S. headquarters in 2015 as VP of operations and quickly became involved in the day to day operations of all divisions of Daetwyler. With my appointment to group CEO in Switzerland in late 2015, Roger was the perfect choice to head up the Americas operation. He fits the Daetwyler culture of excellence and commitment and I am confident that the U.S. team is in good hands.”
Roger holds degrees in manufacturing engineering and business administration. He began his career with a mechanical apprenticeship in Switzerland. He then joined Stryker Switzerland, a manufacturer of medical devices and equipment, and spent more than five years in procurement, manufacturing engineering and project engineering for global projects. Roger then joined the Swiss Federal Railways in a management role as senior business analyst as an interface between procurement and IT. After joining Daetwyler Industries’ management team, he spent a year traveling between Switzerland and China, where he managed Daetwyler’s Chinese subsidiary. In January 2015, Roger moved to the U.S. as VP of operations and was then appointed CEO in January.
