Forum & INFOFLEX 2018 attendees took a break from educational presentations, technical discussions, problem solving and face-to-face networking to attend the Monday Evening Social on Monday, May 7.
The event, free to all Forum attendees, INFOFLEX attendees and INFOFLEX exhibitors, checked all the boxes for those hoping to unwind and relax:
- Comfort: Free from humidity, thunderstorms or any inclement weather, the Monday Evening Social was held indoors, with air conditioning keeping the room a perfect temperature
- Location: A few steps from the exit of the Indiana Convention Center’s Hall H—site of INFOFLEX 2018—attendees had a short walk to the impossible-to-miss 500 Ballroom. No Ubers, no long treks and no need to even step outside
- Food & Drinks: Free hors d’oeuvres were plentiful and with more bars than ever before, there was almost no time to think up a drink order before reaching the bartender
- Entertainment: All the way from Nashville, TN, The Stacy Mitchhart Band provided live music, playing covers of well-known classics like “Grown Ass Man,” “Come Together,” “Sara Smile” and “Long Train Runnin,'” his own songs (which included “I Live My Life”) and closing with a rendition of “When the Saints Go Marching In,” where each band member paraded through the crowd
