Harper Recounts Success of PCMC ELS Max Impact Show

CHARLOTTE, NC—In an effort to support the growth of the flexographic industry, global anilox roll supplier Harper Corporation of America participates in a wide range of events. Recently, the company entered a partnership with PCMC and attended the organization’s iMpact 2013, a symposium for the flexographic printing industry.

The show acted as an open house, allowing guests to explore the technology that event participants have to offer. OEM Technical Accounts Manager Paul Teachout, of Harper Corporation, asserts that the new partnership between Harper and PCMC is something about which his company is extremely excited. He notes: “This new inline platform will provide a great opportunity for the growing segment of mid web packaging and allows all wide web and narrow web converters to take full advantage of the technology.” He goes on to note that the ELS Max Impact Show provided Harper Corporation with the opportunity to debut new products and showcase how its technology works in conjunction with the ELS Max platform.

Rich Rogals, who acts as the sales director for PC&L, comments on the event: “PCMC’s ELS Max Impact 2013 Show was a great success. Many thanks to our supplier partnership with Harper, we pushed the envelope in the inline mid web segment with print quality and speed.”

The event was held exclusively for PCMC’s flexible packaging printing customers and unveiled PCMC’s technologically advanced printing press, the ELS MAX. iMpact 2013 welcomed more than 150 visitors to PCMC’s global headquarters in Green Bay. “PCMC’s iMpact show was first class all the way through,” said Paul Teachout, Technical/OEM Manager, Harper Graphics Solutions, “and your press is incredible!”

Guests enjoyed an opening day presentation and inspirational words from Steve Kemp, President of Paper Converting Machine Company highlighting the leadership principles and practices that drive PCMC. Participants learned how PCMC differsfrom the average manufacturing company and strives to secure its reputation as a great American machinery company.

iMpact 2013 allowed attendees to witness the future of flexographic printing. Visitors agreed that PCMC has exceeded market expectations with the new ELS MAX press. “The press was awesome…totally amazing!” stated Mike Willeford,
