Container Graphics Corp. Files Patent on UltraPerf Rule

Container Graphics Corp UltraPerf RuleCARY, NCContainer Graphics Corp. recently filed a patent application for its UltraPerf Rule. CGC created UltraPerf Rule* with one goal in mind—to substantially improve perforating with rotary cutting dies. UltraPerf incorporates a unique tooth profile specifically engineered to aid in the release of the corrugated board. UltraPerf radically improves the run-ability and quality of perforated board products.

Container Graphics Corp. UltraPerf Rule According to Jim Smithwick, VP of engineering and manufacturing, and the inventor of UltraPerf Rule, the product reduces corrugated board wrapping, and improves dimensional accuracy control in the corrugated converting process which are common issues when rotary diecutting involving standard perf rules.

The product is available in straight and curved rotary formats, in common perforating rule heights, and in perf combinations: 1/2-in. x 1/2-in., 3/8-in. x 3/8-in. and 1/4-in. x 1/4-in.
