HAUPPAUGE, NY—Twelve years after opening its doors in North America, Nordmeccanica is moving into a new larger location. The new building, twice the size of the current Edgewood, NY office, is located in Hauppauge, NY in one of the largest industrial parks in North America. At this new location, just a few miles away from the current one, Nordmeccanica will be able to grow the size of spare parts inventory and permanently feature a full size 59-in. wide laminator.
The larger space will also afford the firm the opportunity to store a significant number of ancillaries, such as roll handling carts and adhesive mixers, to guarantee immediate delivery. The sales and after sales team will also grow with the target to improve the quality of the service to customers. The decision to move into a new location has been definitely motivated by the constantly increasing number of installations as well as by the addition of the new product line of metallizing machinery.
Nordmeccanica will begin operating out of Hauppauge on April 1. A Grand Opening event will be announced soon.
In other news, Nordmeccanica is hosting a May 16 grand opening event of the new location of Nordmeccanica Vacuum. The expanding market of metallizing machinery required a properly sized building. The location will allow for an efficient assembly process while complying with the most stringent criteria in energy saving and environmental protection. The site is in the same industrial park as the corporate location of the Nordmeccanica Group in Piacenza, Italy.
