CHARLOTTE, NC—FLXON Inc is pleased to announce the recent addition of Luke de Gier to its print improvement team. de Gier, who has more than 20 years of industry experience, most recently as print & graphic manager innovation R&D North America for Diageo NA, the world’s largest spirits producer. He has assumed the new position of G2 products business manager at FLXON.
According to FLXON company President, Ryan Sharkey: “Luke is joining FLXON at a time when demand for our technical pressroom support services is increasing. This critical support assures FLXON’s customers will be better able to optimize product and press performance while reducing related waste and increase productivity. Luke’s broad-based knowledge in ink chemistry, press fingerprinting, color management and product development will allow us to further support our customers.” Sharkey went on to say de Gier will also manage FLXON’s pressroom products line including wide and narrow web blade holders, high-capacity peristaltic pumps, micro-filters and vessels, and the popular retrofit FLEXOART “no-leak” ink chambers.
