BRUSSELS, Belgium—FTA Europe is finally glad to officially announce the second edition of the FTA Europe Diamond Awards! The 2018 edition of the Awards will take place in Milan on the evening of Wednesday, May 30 during the period of the Print4All Fair. After the successful first edition in Düsseldorf in June 2016 with more than 230 participants and 30 flexo companies awarded for their works, FTA Europe will continue to celebrate the best of flexo printing.
Following national-level awards, those winning first place will participate automatically in the European FTA Europe Diamond Awards. In 2016, 10 categories were awarded, plus the Best in Flexo (the best sample among all the categories). Considering the structure of the national awards and the fact that the FTA Europe Diamond Awards is a biannual ceremony, we can foresee that about 120 samples will compete for the FTA Europe Diamond Awards edition in 2018.
The venue in Milan will be decided in September during the next FTA Europe board meeting and communicated shortly after. For the time being, please save the date of May 30 to attend the Diamond Awards which are designed to shape and foster the quality of printing flexography across Europe. Delegates from companies, national associations, media partners and stakeholder involved in the flexo community are invited to participate. Sponsorship opportunities are provided for flexo companies that want to contribute to the organization of the ceremony.
