SMITHFIELD, RI—Fine Line Graphics Inc., a leading provider of pre-media solutions for the packaging industry, announced that it has opened two new facilities in North America to better meet the needs of high customer demand.
Operations in Lenexa, KS were initiated by a desire to expand the firm’s reach beyond the midwest. The new facility houses the Kodak NX Wide Format Plate System, as well as Esko’s HD Flexo / MacDermid Lux Flat Top Dot solution. It is the company’s third manufacturing facility in the United States. Fine Line’s other facilities include the recently expanded Rochester, NY facility with full Esko integration, as well as corporate headquarters in Smithfield, RI. All locations are linked through a private fiber optic network that allows for load balancing between facilities providing speed to market for the customer base.
Fine Line Graphics has also recently opened a pre-production facility in Mississauga, ON, Canada. This on-site facility resides at a global brand owner and provides Fine Line expansion into the Canadian marketplace.
