DuPont Packaging Graphics, Koncordia Group Win Silver Davey Award

DuPont Davey AwardWILMINGTON, DEDuPont Packaging Graphics and Koncordia Group are the joint winners of a 2014 Silver Davey Award for the development of a comprehensive marketing campaign in support of DuPont Cyrel Performance Plates. The two companies were recognized by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts in the integrated campaign category.

“This campaign was key in our launch of DuPont Cyrel Performance Plates,” said Michael Buri, global brand manager, DuPont Packaging Graphics. “This integrated program enabled us to introduce the product to a highly discerning audience of printing professionals for whom visual appeal is critical. Our close collaboration with Koncordia on this campaign was essential to highlight the quality, performance and aesthetic appeal resulting from the new Cyrel plates.”

DuPont Cyrel Performance Plates are a family of next generation flexographic printing plates specifically designed to provide outstanding tonal range and the highest possible solid ink density for flexible package printing. Cyrel Performance Plates enable flexible packaging printer converters to achieve quality that is indistinguishable from gravure printing with improved sustainability and productivity benefits.

Nearly 4,000 entries were received for the 2014 Davey Awards competition. The Davey Awards is judged and overseen by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA), a 600+ member organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media.
