HUNTERSVILLE, NC—Daetwyler Corp. has experienced continuous growth and recently expanded its cleaning equipment group. John Faulkner has joined the team as cleaning equipment sales engineer and Shawn Tiikkala has assumed the position of cleaning equipment product manager. John will be handling all sales pertaining to Daetwyler’s Cleaning Equipment in the Americas and Shawn is responsible for the technical service/support as well as spare parts sales.
“John is a great fit for Daetwyler with better than 35 years experience in the coatings industry, all involved in industrial applications,” said Marty Cansler, national sales manage. “His focus at Daetwyler will be furthering our presence within the printing and coatings industry for cleaning equipment technologies while managing the various aspects of technical sales.
“Shawn began with us as an apprentice in 2006 and received his journeyman’s welder/fabricator certificate in 2010,” added Cansler. “In addition to his service responsibilities, Shawn has now taken on the role of product manager to train customers as well as providing on site service for situations that the customer is unable to repair themselves.”
