DÜSSELDORF, Germany—Camis S.r.L. and its global distributor, Eurograv Limited, are pleased to announce that they will unveil at drupa a brand new flexographic sleeve mounting solution on their Stand D40 in Hall 10.
The new machine is to be known as the Camis SleeveMASTER HD Pro and it’s specifically aimed at the mid to wide web flexographic printer who is looking to improve print quality, registration, press up time and overall process standardization from operator to operator and sleeve to sleeve.
The Camis SleeveMASTER HD Pro will be available in widths from 35.43-in. up to more than 78.74-in. wide and with print repeats up to 49.21-in.
Camis S.r.L. Managing Director Davide Pesenti reports that the SleeveMASTER HD Pro is a clean sheet design taking on board the vast experiences gained from more than 400 separate Camis installations of the hugely successful Irisleeve and Iriflex machines.
The primary aim of the new Camis SleeveMASTER HD Pro is to further improve upon the already high level of repeatability currently available with the existing Camis Irisleeve and Iriflex machines. The Camis SleeveMASTER HD Pro will also feature dramatic improvements in image capture ability and dot presentation via a wide split screen high resolution monitor. A new high end HD graphics package has also been specifically designed for the new crop of High Resolution HD plates.
Responsible for global sales of the Camis range of flexographic plate mounting solutions, Mike Attard of Eurograv noted that the primary aim of the new Camis SleeveMASTER HD Pro machine is to make everyone who uses it, experienced or not, a true master in mounting sleeves, hence its moniker. Mike continues: “We are aiming for zero press down time due to the tape or plate mounting, along with virtually zero technical intervention required on the machine within six years.”
