BIELEFELD, Germany—BST International has agreed to purchase eltromat. With the future BST eltromat combined company, two suppliers of quality assurance systems become one strong technology partner with customers worldwide.
With the acquisition, the international BST group becomes a leading technology partner for all quality assurance and production optimization requirements of the web processing industries. With the combined know how, experienced team, strengths of its product lines and tight global manufacturing and service network, the new company offers a portfolio to customers that is unique in the market.

Whether extrusion, packaging production, hygiene industry or tire manufacturing—BST and eltromat were very good as single players,” says Uwe Meyer, CEO of BST. “Merged as BST eltromat, we become the key market and technology leader.”
Meyer will also become CEO at BST eltromat. The previous eltromat CEO Dr. Gunter Tautorus and Dr. Johann-Carsten Kipp will assume the positions of the commercial (CFO) and technical management (CTO). Former BST sales manager Kristian Jünke will complete the new management team as deputy manager/head of sales and service.
