Ashley Cash, Rising Flexographic Industry Member, Passes Away at 33

UNION, SC—Ashley Cash, 33, southeast technical representative at All Printing Resources Inc since 2017, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Nov. 8, 2021. She was based in Union, SC.

Born Dec. 22, 1987, in Spartanburg, to Glenn and Emily Murray Ivey, she was a 2006 graduate of Union High School and a 2010 graduate of Clemson University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in graphic communication and a minor in packaging science.

In school, she competed in the Phoenix Challenge College Competition and in 2010 was a member of the team recognized at FTA’s INFOFLEX for having constructed the “Educational Booth of the Year.” Her 12-year career in packaging included assignments as graphics coordinator at Sealed Air in Simpsonville, SC, where she focused on job specifications and process controls; applications engineer at Esko, where she specialized in workflow development; as well as college internships at Southern Champion Tray in Chattanooga, TN and Linemark Printing in Upper Marlboro, MD.

Dave Nieman, president of APR, stated, “Ashley was a beloved member of the APR family. She was someone who really cared about the flexo industry and all the people she encountered in it. She very much appreciated the love and support she received from so many. Ashley always tried to be a valued contributor to our industry, while at the same time bringing a smile to all those she worked with. She will be greatly missed.”

In addition to her parents, Ashley is survived by husband, Jeremy David Cash and in-laws, Wendy and Danny Cash.
