Allstein Draws Crowds to Press Unveiling

Allstein Press DemoSTEINHAGEN, GermanyAllstein opened the doors of their new facilities in Steinhagen, Germany, to show their expanded facilities and demonstrate its latest Central Impression (CI) flexographic press. Numerous invited industry representatives from around the world attended the event. The main focus of the multi day event was the world premiere of a new generation flexo printing press. The event gave attendees the chance to review the equipment, its performance and the many innovations that enhance the productivity significantly over conventional equipment.

The demonstration press was an Allstein Hydro 185-cm. (73-in.) web width 10-color roll to roll film press with many elected Allstein features for one of the industry’s fastest changeovers, waste free rapid setup, and high speed running of the finest possible graphics. This equipment is ideally focused on the entire process involved in short run production with variable data and met with great interest from participants. During live demonstrations, numerous potential customers were able to see for themselves the many different performance features.

More and more printers are facing the challenge of making short run production cost efficient. In response to this trend the Allstein press is equipped with startlingly innovative methods of enhancing efficiencies, and reducing waste and downtime.

After the demonstrations the attendees were treated to a delicious barbecue luncheon, with time set aside afterwards to spend in detailed inspection of the press and the many unique features that enhance the equipment performance and profitability.

The equipment demonstrations were viewed as very successful and ultimately have led to additional orders for Allstein, further enhancing its success.
