About Our Presenters
John Short, NAStar Inc
John has been with NAStar Inc since 2003, beginning as a field marketing representative. He is currently the marketing director, responsible for sales and marketing for the company. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, John lives in Madison, WI with his wife and two children.
Brad Klimek, Paper Converting Machine Co (PCMC)
Brad is a controls engineer and has been with PCMC for more than five years. He is proficient in numerous control platforms (PLC, HMI, Drives, etc.), Allen-Bradley, Bosch-Rexroth, B&R, Yaskawa and G&L. He has been an integral member of the company’s Smart and Connected initiative, as well as one of the lead engineers responsible for the development of the Meridian Elite. Brad holds a Bachelor of Science degree focused in electrical, electronics and communications engineering from University of West Florida.
Uli Kretzschmar, SEI Laser
Uli is VP of SEI Laser sales at Matik Inc in West Hartford, CT. He received his master’s degree in engineering, and soon after he entered the printing industry. After several years of designing, marketing and selling label and packaging printing equipment, he was offered the position of product and business development manager for major European and American based OEMs. Born in Germany, he had the opportunity to live and work for several years in Switzerland and eventually relocated to the US in 2009 to continue his career path in the printing and packaging industry. At Matik, he is responsible for the SEI Laser product portfolio, offering innovative converting and finishing solutions for label, packaging and wide-format applications.
Barry Wendell, Domino Digital Printing
Barry is an account manager with Domino Digital Printing North America. Barry has been with Domino since 2017, and his experience in labels and packaging spans a career of 27 years. He has become a well-known and highly respected expert within the industry. Prior to Domino, Barry worked for Konica Minolta, Hyde Park Label Co, HP, Eastman Kodak, Creo and Scitex America.
