Cyrel® Lightning: LSH Plate – Solvent-Processable Plate for UV LED Exposure

Presented by Brad Gasque, DuPont Cyrel Solutions Technical Service Team

The adoption of the UV LED exposure units is increasing year over year due to the benefits this type of equipment offers, compared to conventional bank exposure systems. Standardization, consistency and higher quality are some of the claimed benefits converters and trade shops gain with this equipment. However, the two types of equipment operate differently, which can create a challenge for plate makers when using standard formulation plates. With this in mind, DuPont™ developed a new family of plates—Cyrel® Lightning—formulated for UV LED exposure from the ground up.

Join Brad to learn about the current challenge of working with LED exposures, and how this new plate, Cyrel® LSH, is enabling trade shops and printers/converters to achieve higher productivity and improved plate and print quality with the LED units.
