XSYS, Hybrid Software Partner on Integrated Flexo Workflow Solution

XSYS and Hybrid Software have entered into a strategic collaboration aimed at integrating plate layout and workflow optimization capabilities within flexographic plate production.

The agreement brings together Hybrid Software’s Tectonics software with XSYS’s Thermoflex imaging systems to create a more connected digital workflow. The combined solution is designed to improve interoperability, streamline plate layout processes and support more efficient production operations.

As part of the collaboration, XSYS plans to offer Tectonics as part of its FlexoFlow workflow platform, alongside Thermoflex imagers. The integration is expected to introduce features such as automated plate layout, support for corrugated plate patching and compatibility with a range of cutting table outputs.

The companies also indicated that the solution will provide a migration pathway for users of existing Multiplate software, which has traditionally been used for plate merging in Thermoflex workflows.

In addition, XSYS and Hybrid Software plan to introduce a joint “Certified Solution” designation intended to validate interoperability between the systems and provide users with greater confidence in the combined workflow.

The collaboration reflects ongoing efforts within the flexographic industry to modernize prepress and plate production workflows through increased automation, connectivity and software integration.
