W&H Unveils Global Launch of ONEFLEX at FTA Technical Conference in Atlanta

Windmöller & Hölscher chose 2026 FTA Technical Conference for ONEFLEX CI’s global debut. On Oct. 1 in Atlanta, W&H’s director of sales Jason Cagle announced the CI flexographic press during a technical spotlight.
ONEFLEX CI is the newest addition to W&H’s CI flexo press portfolio for flexible packaging printing. The press reaches speeds of up to 600 m/min and was developed with an emphasis on easy handling, print quality, and a platform designed to support future production requirements.
W&H is positioning the press as the latest step in more than 70 years of CI flexo development. The company says it introduced the world’s first CI printing press more than seven decades ago.
The ONEFLEX CI launch also continues W&H’s broader focus on increasing productivity and efficiency while connecting equipment within increasingly digital production environments. Across its CI flexo portfolio, W&H has emphasized automation, inspection, and interconnected production as tools for improving output and process control.
The global debut at FTA Technical Conference gave attendees an early look at the newest addition to that portfolio and W&H’s direction for the next generation of CI flexographic printing equipment.
The 2026 FTA Technical Conference brought flexographic professionals to Atlanta for two days of technical education, industry discussion, and research updates. The event centered on practical print, process and quality challenges, with programming designed for professionals working across pressrooms, prepress, quality, operations, technical service, education and other areas of package printing.
The program included updates from FTA’s Flexo Quality Consortium (FQC), including ongoing research projects, as well as sessions examining surface screening, microcell engineering, design of experiments, packaging workflow, artificial intelligence, mounting-room performance, and data-driven process optimization.
FTA also offered FIRST Live Level 1 training in conjunction with the conference, giving attendees an opportunity to build foundational knowledge in flexographic terminology, press components, inks and substrates, and print quality evaluation.
