Mexico Leads the Professionalization of the Flexographic Industry with the Presentation of “FIRST 7.0 in Spanish”
Guadalajara, Jalisco — With the participation of key representatives from industry, academia, and the public sector, the official press conference for the launch of the technical book “FIRST 7.0 in Spanish” was successfully held, positioning Mexico as a leading force in the standardization and technical development of the flexographic industry in Latin America.
The event took place at the State Public Library of Jalisco “Juan José Arreola”, bringing together specialized media and industry leaders interested in strengthening the quality and competitiveness of flexographic printing.

“FIRST 7.0″ (Flexographic Image Reproduction Specifications & Tolerances) is the most important technical standard worldwide in flexographic printing, establishing precise guidelines to achieve quality, consistency, and control in image reproduction.
This edition represents a historic milestone, as it is the first official version in Spanish. This achievement has been made possible within the framework of collaboration with the Foundation of Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) of the United States, which granted authorization for its translation, promotion, and commercialization across Latin America, with Mexico leading this effort.
“The arrival of FIRST 7.0 in Spanish represents a fundamental step in elevating the technical level of our industry and aligning with international standards that are now essential to compete globally,” stated a representative of FTA Mexico.
“This effort not only impacts companies but also strengthens talent development and collaboration with academic institutions, creating a more robust ecosystem for the growth of the sector,” it was highlighted during the event.
The presence of specialized media helped amplify the message and reinforce the importance of this launch for the entire flexographic industry value chain.
With initiatives like this, FTA Mexico A.C. reaffirms its commitment to the professionalization of the sector and the generation of high-impact technical knowledge.
Guadalajara, Jalisco- Con una destacada participación de representantes de la industria, la academia y el sector público, se llevó a cabo con éxito la rueda de prensa para la presentación oficial del libro técnico “FIRST 7.0 en Español”, posicionando a México como un referente en la estandarización y desarrollo técnico de la industria flexográfica en Latinoamérica.
El evento tuvo lugar en la Biblioteca Pública del Estado de Jalisco “Juan José Arreola”, reuniendo a medios especializados, así como a líderes del sector interesados en fortalecer la calidad y competitividad de la impresión flexográfica.
Durante la presentación, se contó con la participación del José Trinidad Padilla López, Director de la Biblioteca; el Ing. Rubén Masayi González Uyeda, representante del sector industrial; así como integrantes de FTA México A.C.
“FIRST 7.0” (Flexographic Image Reproduction Specifications & Tolerances) es el estándar técnico más importante a nivel mundial en impresión flexográfica, al establecer lineamientos precisos para lograr calidad, consistencia y control en la reproducción de imagen.
Esta edición representa un momento histórico, al ser la primera versión oficial en español, siendo México el país encargado de su promoción, distribución y comercialización en Latinoamérica.
