Impreglon to Expand Flexographic Printing Plant

MILWAUKEE, WIImpreglon Surface Technology Group, a world leader in anilox technology and engineered surface coatings, has plans to expand its plant in Milwaukee. Impreglon has purchased the newest laser technology from Applied Laser Engineering (ALE) and will be adding equipment to expand capacity in Milwaukee, which is focused primarily on offerings for the flexographic printing industry.

“It is an exciting time to be associated with Impreglon,” said John Batistatos, printing market manager for Impreglon. “The acquisition of the newest laser technology will allow us to bring new offerings to the anilox market that have never been offered before. Combined with our expertise in surface coatings, we will provide developments that could change the future of the anilox industry. In addition, we will be able to go after new markets that we previously were not in.”

To accommodate for the rapid growth, Impreglon will be hiring more production, customer service and sales people. Impeglon engraves, finishes and measures each anilox roll using ISO 9001:2015 methodology and certifies every roll with MicroDynamics measuring equipment. Furthermore, Impreglon resurfaces idler rolls and applies non-stick coatings to various press parts, including ink pans and chambers. The company’s manufacturing facility in Milwaukee has more than 35 years of anilox roll experience.

“After expansion, which will be complete in Q4 of 2018, we will have the most laser capacity and the most coating stations in the industry,” John stated. “We take great pride in our on-time delivery and we are looking to take that to an even higher level.”
