Hummel Strengthens Label Production With a Second Omet Press Line

Hummel has expanded its label production operation with the installation of a second OMET press line, reinforcing the German converter’s focus on automation, print quality and production efficiency in the competitive label market.

The Magstadt, Germany-based company installed an OMET XFlex X6 530 flexographic press as part of a broader strategy to strengthen production flexibility and support continued growth in label applications. The new installation builds on Hummel’s existing relationship with OMET and reflects continued investment in modern narrow-web flexographic technology.

According to OMET, the XFlex X6 platform was selected for its automation capabilities, register accuracy and ability to manage a wide range of label applications while maintaining efficient production workflows. The press platform is designed to support rapid job changes, reduced waste and high-quality output across increasingly demanding label markets.
