FTA Supplier of the Year

The FTA Supplier of the Year Award has been established to recognize a supplier within the flexographic printing industry that has demonstrated exceptional commitment to innovation, partnership, and advancement of the flexographic community over the past calendar year (from January 1 to December 31 each year). 

The award will honor a company that has gone above and beyond in supporting FTA programs, improving industry standards, and elevating the member experience. Achievements made following or prior to this time period are not to be considered as part of the awards process.

Entry Guidelines

Companies will need to fill out this nomination form from the link below. Any person recommending a company will fill out a recommendation. Upon receipt of the recommendation,  an FTA staff person will contact the recommended company for a completed nomination. There is no fee for recommending a company or competing a nomination form.

Eligibility

A company must meet all the following requirements to be considered for the FTA Supplier of the Year Award:

  • The Supplier must be from the Flexographic Printing industry and a member of the Flexographic Technical Association in good standing.
  • Have actively supported FTA events or programs (e.g., FORUM INFOFLEX, FIRST training, volunteer, etc.) in the past 12 months (from January 1 to December 31 each year).
  • Demonstrate leadership through product or service innovation that has positively impacted the flexographic industry.
  • Exhibit exceptional corporate citizenship, including involvement in workforce development, sustainability initiatives, or FTA community or committee support.
  • Be recognized by customers and peers for high quality products, reliability, and service excellence.
  • Represent the spirit of partnership and shared purpose that aligns with FTA’s core values.


The award nominations will be judged on the following weighted categories. Examples of documentation are provided:

  • (25%) Industry Leadership & Service: Contributions to FTA programs, committees, technical publications, speaking, mentorship, standards development.
  • (20%) Customer Experience & Reliability: On-time delivery, responsiveness, technical support, and satisfaction with evidence (SLAs/scorecards).
  • (20%) Innovation & Technical Impact: New products/processes that materially improved customers’ outcomes (e.g., higher line screens, press speed, color consistency), supported by measured results and customer references.
  • (20%) Sustainability Leadership: Practices and offerings that reduce environmental impact or help printers meet sustainability goals; document metrics and programs.
  • (15%) Partnership & Collaboration: Case studies showing co-development, rapid problem-solving, training/knowledge transfer, and long-term impact.
