About Our Presenters

Sara Alexander, BOBST

Sara Alexander joined BOBST in January 2018. She is currently marketing and communication manager for the gravure, laminating and coating product lines for flexible packaging, based at Bobst Italia. After receiving a Bachelor of Honors degree in French and Spanish from the University of Leeds in the UK, Sara moved to Italy to learn a third foreign language. She has also lived, studied and worked in France, Spain and Luxembourg, before making Italy her home in 2001.

With more than 20 years’ experience in the flexible packaging industry, Sara has extensive knowledge of raw materials as well as printing and converting technology. At BOBST, she is involved in a number of innovation projects focused on creating new sustainable solutions for the flexible packaging industry.

Marco Carrara, BOBST

Marco Carrera is technology sales director CI flexo for printing and converting, with headquarters in Bielefeld (Germany). He joined BOBST in 2004, following the acquisition of Valmet Converting. He has worked in sales for more than 30 years at leading Italian and foreign manufacturers of flexographic machines, gaining extremely in-depth skills that brought him recognition as an international expert and innovation leader in the industry.
