FIRST Friday Episode #8: Characterization

Join us for the next installment of FIRST Friday, where we dive into a critical step in the flexographic printing process — Characterization. This episode will explore how proper press characterization serves as the foundation for consistent, repeatable, and high-quality print results. Our experts will walk through what characterization really means in practice, why it’s essential to the FIRST (Flexographic Image Reproduction Specifications & Tolerances) methodology, and how it connects to process control, optimization, and ongoing improvement.
