Forum 2019 Fingerprint Session Follow-Up

Presented by Zachery Blackburn of Central Piedmont Community College, Shawn Oetjen of Flexographic Tech, FTA Hall of Fame Member Mark Mazur, Robb Frimming of Schawk and Steve Smiley of SmileyColor & Associates LLC

Forum 2019 attendees had plenty of good things to say about its Tuesday morning, fingerprint-focused session, “Gaining Control of Your Process: The Fingerprint.” “Great reinforcement of essential pressroom practices,” read one review. “This clearly articulated and clarified the subject of fingerprints. Great hearing common missteps,” read another. One even exclaimed, “Great info and process management. This was my favorite session to date at Forum!”

They also had questions that, as the two-hour session came to a close, went unanswered. In this FTA Member Webinar, the session’s four speakers return to answer those lingering concerns—about SCTV, FIRST density targets, curves and other topics—and take new questions. Learn from some of the most well-respected and recognized minds in flexography today how to bring all of a press’ individual attributes together and transform it into a reliable, color-imaging machine that delivers consistent, predictable and repeatable results.
