FTA Accepting Entries for 2020 Excellence in Flexography Awards

BOHEMIA, NY—FTA has announced the call for entries in the 2020 Excellence in Flexography Awards Competition. The nine categories into which print samples can be entered are:

  • Wide Web
  • Mid Web
  • Narrow Web
  • Combined Corrugated
  • Preprinted Linerboard
  • Envelope
  • Self-Promotion
  • Non-Traditional
  • Student

Started in 1960, the Excellence in Flexography Awards is the longest running and most prestigious annual print competition in the industry, and the one which flexographers from around the world trust to define objectively superlative flexographic work. Each of the hundreds of entries received every year is individually evaluated by a panel of judges on its degree of difficulty and level of execution.

“The Excellence in Flexography Awards provides printers with the opportunity to determine how well they stack up to their peers, and it brings out some amazing flexographically-printed pieces,” said Tension Corp’s Lon Robinson, chair of the Excellence in Flexography Awards Committee. “For those printers that receive a best of show, gold, silver or bronze award, it’s proof of their abilities. For operators, it’s a validation of their hard work.”
