FFTA Accepting Applications for Trio of Scholarships

BOHEMIA, NY—Foundation of FTA (FFTA) has announced it is now accepting applications for each of its annual scholarships. In maintaining its commitment to promoting and advancing the flexographic printing process, FFTA and its affiliates, by way of these three scholarship categories, provided $58,000 in 2019 for both students and industry professionals.

FFTA’s three scholarships include:

  • The FFTA Scholarship, a $3,000 award given to multiple high school seniors and college freshman, sophomores and juniors interested in flexography and/or graphic communications
  • The FFTA Rossini North America Flexographic Research Scholarship, sponsored by Rossini North America, awarding a total of $22,500 to a first- and second-place winner, as well as their schools
  • The Gary Hilliard FQC Scholarship, named in honor of the late Gary Hilliard and sponsored by FTA and the FQC (Flexo Quality Consortium), a $2,500 grant awarded to one student to develop and execute a flexography-focused project

“I was overjoyed when I found out I had won an FFTA Scholarship this past year,” said Mia Bartel of University of Wisconsin-Stout. “It is so exciting to know that my education is supported through Foundation of FTA.
