Ins and Outs of the Printing Process

There are so many variables or critical inputs to the printing process that can have an impact on make ready or downtime. It is crucial to have controls and understanding of how changes to these inputs can affect the output results. Applying the idea that y=f(x) can reduce guesswork in what to do in a given circumstance from pre-press to press to converting.

Greg Horney, National Sales Manager at Fujifilm

Greg is the National Sales Manager for Fujifilm North America - Packaging Division. He has been in the flexographic printing industry for over 40 years starting from the floor up and ranging from narrow web labels to wide web flexible packaging. Greg has his associate's degree in graphic design at the University of Nebraska - Omaha then later completed his bachelor's degree at Rochester Institute of Technology in both Graphics Communications and Quality Management. He then completed his Lean Six Sigma Black Belt focusing his projects on the pressroom floor. Greg enjoys his time off big game hunting in the mountains of Montana and planes of the Midwest and Texas. He enjoys spending time off the grid, working on cars, and competitive 3D archery shoots.
