PADERBORN, Germany—In the first half of 2017, anilox roll manufacturer Zecher GmbH already reports it increased the order receipt value by 10 percent compared to last year. Due to the increase in the number of orders, as well as the growing customer requirements, Zecher is now extending its capacities and technological opportunities within the area of laser engraving. To achieve this, two laser engraving systems will be brought completely up to date through upgrades this year. In addition, Zecher will also install a new system that is fitted with all the hardware and software options currently available.
Rüdiger Wand, managing director of Zecher, explains the benefits of this investment: “The technology implemented for this allows us to manufacture a much wider range of specifications. The investment also opens up a higher production flexibility and faster turnaround times for us.” Zecher reports that it is responding to the increasing demands of the industry in order to improve its strong market position even further.
