ProAmpac and Divillys Ltd shortlisted for Green Collaboration Award
CINCINNATI, OH—On January 14, 2026, ProAmpac announced that it has been shortlisted for the Green Collaboration Award at the Green Awards 2026, along with Irish meat producer Divillys Ltd T/A Divilly Brothers. The shortlist spotlights ProActive Recyclable® FibreSculpt, a fiber-based, curbside-recyclable thermoforming solution.
Built for chilled meat applications, ProActive Recyclable® FibreSculpt cuts plastic use by over 90 percent compared to conventional rigid trays*. Even with dramatic plastic reduction, the solution delivers high grease and oxygen barrier protection, shelf impact and the operational efficiency required to run smoothly on existing thermoforming lines with no changes.
“This recognition reflects what’s possible when teams push boundaries together,” said Adam West, product development engineer. “By aligning material science expertise with real production demands, we delivered a curbside recyclable solution that significantly reduces plastic while performing at the highest level with no impact on shelf life and production filling line. We’re proud to see this work acknowledged by the Green Awards.”
The Green Awards celebrate outstanding achievements in sustainability and environmental initiatives across industries. Winners will be announced at the Awards ceremony in February, in Dublin, Ireland.
