GREEN BAY, WI—Paper Converting Machine Company (PCMC), part of Barry-Wehmiller, will be showcasing its Meridian laser anilox cleaner at Labelexpo Americas 2018 (booth 1343), held Sept. 25 to 27 in Rosemont, Illinois.
Attendees may stop by the PCMC booth at 10 am, 11 am, 2 pm and 4 pm for the duration of the show to view live demonstrations of the Meridian, which cleans anilox cells without damaging them by using a powerful laser to vaporize deposited particles inside of the cells. The Meridian has been named a finalist for the Award for Innovation, one of the key categories of the Label Industry Global Awards 2018.
With its patent-pending laser technology, the Meridian deeply cleans chrome and ceramic rolls of any line screen without causing surface wear, achieving like-new surface conditions at unprecedented speeds, many times increasing efficiency by 300 percent or more.
