Laserclean to Debut Anilox Cleaning Technology

The Dutch company Laserclean has expanded its presence in Latin America, introducing its laser cleaning technology for anilox rollers in Brazil. According to the company founder and CE0, Martin de Witt, insufficient cleaning of anilox rollers remains one of the least understood factors affecting print consistency in flexography.

The technology uses controlled laser pulses to remove contaminants directly from the microscopic cells of the anilox rollers. The result is deep cleaning with low energy consumption and virtually no residue. The system can also help converters reduce ink adjustments, waste and operating costs.
