WILKESBORO, NC—In an effort to exceed customer quality needs and to meet global industry standards, the InterFlex Group announced today the British Retail Consortium (BRC) Certification of its Merrill, WI facility. BRC certification ensures a company’s products and services meet the requirements set out in the BRC Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials.
According to Shane Miller, continuous improvement manager for the InterFlex Group, “BRC Global Standards’ guarantee the standardization of quality, safety and operational criteria and ensure that manufacturers’ fulfill their legal obligations and provide protection for the end consumer.” The scope of the BRC audit covered the printing, lamination, slitting, pouching and Innoloc of PE flexible packaging products for the food industry.
