FTA Launches “Flexo Fundamentals” — A New On-Demand Training for Non-Production Professionals
BOHEMIA, NY — The Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) has launched Flexo Fundamentals, a new on-demand training course designed for professionals who work with flexographic printing but don’t operate in the pressroom.
Flexographic printing powers nearly half of the world’s packaging, yet many professionals who interact with it daily have never seen a press in action. Flexo Fundamentals bridges that gap by turning technical complexity into clear, accessible knowledge. The course empowers learners to communicate confidently with clients, vendors, and production teams—without needing a technical background.
“We developed Flexo Fundamentals to help professionals feel confident talking about flexography,” said Kenny Tucker, FTA’s director of technical education. “By understanding how flexographic printing works, non-production team members can make better decisions, build stronger client relationships, and reduce costly miscommunications.” Flexo Fundamentals is ideal for professionals in sales, marketing, design, procurement, and customer service – or anyone new to the flexographic.
