Flexographic Printing Market Size to Top $12.8 Billion in 2032

AUSTIN, TX–S&S Insider is reporting that the flexo printing market, valued at  $9.1 billion in 2024, is expected to grow to $12.8 billion by 2032–a compound annual growth rate of 4.3 percent in each of the next eight years.

Sustainable Solutions
Growing demand for environmentally friendly packaging materials and inks, as well as growing consumer awareness of environmental issues, are driving the flexographic printing industry’s strong growth.

S&S analysts also indicated that capacity to print on a variety of substrates, such as recycled paper, biodegradable polymers, and plant-based materials is contributing to flexes popularity..

The European Union’s Directive on Single-Use Plastics, which attempts to reduce the environmental impact of these items through legal measures, emphasizes how urgent it is to switch from conventional packaging to more sustainable alternatives.

By using environmentally friendly, water-based inks that support EU sustainability targets, this framework encourages the use of flexographic printing in sustainable packaging solutions.
