CHARLOTTE, NC—FLXON Inc. is pleased to announce that Chris Quandt joins the firm’s print solutions team as area business manager for the U.S. Midwest, including the states of Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio.
According to company spokesman Ryan Sharkey, “Chris has more than 20 years of hands on pressroom experience including the management of day to day pressroom operations at Outlook Group; a highly regarded packaging and print solutions firm located in Neenah, WI. Chris’ commitment to continuous process improvement led him to evaluate and switch to SWEDCUT doctor blades a number of years ago. Now, Chris says he is excited to have the opportunity to help pressrooms in his area drive waste out of their process.”
Ryan went on to say FLXON’s business in the Midwest region has grown substantially in recent years especially following launch of the firm’s new MFLEX PLUS doctor blade. The PLUS blade is used in demanding flexo, rotogravure and coating applications and is considered by many to be the most economical high end blade on the market. Soon after launch, MFLEX PLUS was awarded the prestigious HD Flexo Certification by Esko.
Ryan added Chris will take responsibility for the territory effective Jan. 30 from FLXON’s VP Derek Parker who will continue to cover markets in the U.S. and Canadian West.
