Expanding on how their hybrid presses have enhanced productivity in their plants, comments included:
- “It’s still new for us; we need to print more jobs”
- “Less waste, quicker startups and better quality”
- “An expanded customer base”
- “It just allows us to make labels that we could not previously print”
Answers to the question “What impact has your hybrid press had on your traditional flexo production line?” all sounded similar: “No impact,” “not much” and “none,” perhaps lending credence to the idea hybrid printing frees up, rather than takes from, flexo machines.
