APR Expands Offerings to U.S. Label Converters with Colordyne Technologies’ Digital Press

GLENDALE HEIGHTS, ILAll Printing Resources (APR) announced the company is now offering Colordyne Technologies’ new 2800 Series Mini Laser Pro throughout the U.S. label converting marketplace. APR has been actively representing Colordyne’s 3600 Series AQ Retrofit system for years and the new 2800 Series Mini Laser Pro expands the company’s digital offerings to label converters of all sizes, serving all end-use categories.

The 2800 Series Mini Laser Pro is a standalone inline digital platform consisting of a four-color aqueous inkjet print engine and fully integrated inline laminating and digital laser diecutting system. The 2800 Series is an entry level solution meant to provide converters with an affordable way to produce high-resolution inkjet labels for even the smallest run sizes and personalized applications.

APR’s Vice President of Business Development Richard Black commented, “Colordyne’s new 2800 Series Mini Laser Pro is a real game changer both for APR, and for the U.S. label converting industry. This is an affordable digital inkjet offering that meets ink compliance standards in the food and beverage industry, in addition to providing label converters with a fully integrated laser diecutting option. Even for the smallest run sizes, the cost of a flexible die is still an issue with the added necessity of having to die cut offline for most digital press systems. This is eliminated with the 2800 Series Mini Laser Pro and offers label converters a truly economical way to acquire a turnkey, high-resolution digital press.”
