FTA Flexographic Printer of the Year
The FTA Flexographic Printer of the Year Award has been established to honor a company for their outstanding contribution to the industry during the past twelve (12) months (from January 1 to December 31 each year). The Award is meant to recognize a flexographic printing business that exemplifies excellence, innovation, and leadership within the packaging and printing industry. This award honors a company that not only delivers consistent, high-quality flexographic print for Consumer Product Company (CPC) partners, but also gives back to the industry, advances sustainability efforts, and demonstrates a forward-thinking approach to business.
Achievements made following or prior to this time period are not to be considered as part of the awards process

Entry Guidelines
Companies will need to fill out the nomination form from the link below. Any person recommending a company will fill out a recommendation. Upon receipt of the recommendation, an FTA staff person will contact the recommended company for a completed nomination. There is no fee for recommending a company or competing a nomination form.
Eligibility
A company must meet all the following requirements to be considered for the FTA Printer of the Year Award:
- The Printer must be from the Flexographic Printing industry and a member of the Flexographic Technical Association in good standing.
- Have actively supported FTA events or programs (e.g., FORUM INFOFLEX, FIRST training, volunteer, etc.) in the past 12 months (from January 1 to December 31 each year).
- Demonstrate leadership through product or service innovation that has positively impacted the flexographic industry.
- Exhibit exceptional corporate citizenship, including involvement in workforce development, sustainability initiatives, or FTA community or committee support.
- Be recognized by customers and peers for high quality products, reliability, and service excellence.
- Represent the spirit of partnership and shared purpose that aligns with FTA’s core values.
The award nominations will be judged on the following weighted categories:
- (25%) Industry Leadership & Service: Contributions to FTA programs, committees, technical publications, speaking, mentorship, standards development.
- (20%) Print Quality and Technical Mastery: Award-caliber execution, consistent print excellence across substrates/inks/presses; relevant accolades in FTA Excellence competitions bolster evidence.
- (20%) Innovation: Implementation of impactful process/technology (e.g., screening, plates, color control, data-driven QC) with measured outcomes.
- (20%) Sustainability & ESG: Material/energy reduction, solvent recovery, waste diversion, EHS performance, community/environmental initiatives with metrics and third-party validations if available.
- (15%) Customer Impact: Measurable value creation for customers (quality, speed, service levels, new capabilities), testimonials or case studies.
