Maintaining Print Quality in a Post-UPC World

Presented by Jay Sperry, Digimarc

While the traditional UPC symbol may not be leaving packages any time soon, a shift is occurring throughout the industry, as more and more companies adopt improved forms of digital identification. One such advancement is the Digimarc Barcode, a machine-readable digital identifier that is nearly imperceptible to consumers and can be replicated across the package to achieve many benefits, including more efficient scanning. While the Digimarc Barcode uses regular inks and printing equipment, there are important considerations in how it is applied to packaging graphics, printed and controlled for quality.

Listen to renowned printing expert and Digimarc Platform Evangelist Jay Sperry describe how Digimarc Barcode works and what printers and packaging professionals need to know when working jobs with this revolutionary new digital identify for packaging.
