Optimizing Inks for High-Speed Printing

Virtual Event | 11:00 am EST | Non-Member: Free | Member: Free

In a challenging economy with rising material costs and tighter sustainability requirements, many converters are turning to higher press speeds to drive efficiency. In this webinar, Sun Chemical’s Moe Rahmeh, Technical Customer Service Functional Excellence Director, will explore how ink design must evolve for high-speed flexo—balancing drying rate, resolubility, and color strength to keep pace with lines approaching or exceeding 2,000 FPM. He’ll outline common high-speed defects and how inks can be formulated to help prevent them. Attendees will gain practical guidance to optimize print quality, reduce waste, and maximize the return on high-speed press investments.
