BOHEMIA, NY —The Foundation of Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) announced the opening of nominations for its Board of Directors, inviting qualified members to help shape the future of the Association and the flexographic printing industry. 

Nominations will be accepted beginning September 1 and will remain open through 5:00 pm ET on September 21, 2026. 

This year’s nomination process marks an important milestone as it is the first Board election conducted under the unified FTA organization, providing members with a direct opportunity to participate in identifying the Association leadership. 

“The strength of the FTA has always come from the dedication of its members,” said Nathan Ridnouer, FTA President. “As our industry continues to evolve, we need passionate, experienced leaders who are committed to serving the membership and helping guide Association strategy in the years ahead. I encourage qualified members to consider serving or to nominate a colleague who is ready to make a meaningful impact.” 

For the 2027 FTA Board of Directors, the Association will be seeking to fill two Supplier positions. Supplier member candidates will be evaluated by the FTA Nominating Committee based on several factors, including: 

• Industry strategy and leadership experience 
• Professional expertise in and knowledge of the technical printing process 
• Association involvement as a volunteer 
• Ability to actively participate in Board responsibilities and leadership development

Serving on the FTA Board provides members with the opportunity to influence the Association’s strategic direction, represent the interests of the industry, and contribute to initiatives that strengthen education, technical advancement, workforce development, and the future of flexographic printing.
