Print Creative Alliance results from merger

LOS ANGELES, CA—In 2025, the merger of the two largest graphic communications industry trade associations in the western U.S. (Printing Industries Association and Visual Media Alliance) created a new association known as Print Creative Alliance. The teams and their advisors worked together to develop a name that incorporates two key components of the industry: printing and creative design. The new group is an alliance of talent that is significant to all levels of visual communication.

The new logo blends the colors of PIA and VMA into a single color, unifying a singular focus on our industry across 13 western states. “Clearly,” the group announced in January, “together we are more powerful than as two separate organizations. One voice will further strengthen our industry advocacy with regulators.”

The Print Creative Alliance team is more than 40 employees strong, and is positioned to champion its members’ success.

The merger process started on July 1, 2025, and continues today. Moving forward, the new brand will be rolled out through events, publications and more.
