INITIAL REACTIONS: 2025 FORUM INFOFLEX
BOHEMIA, NY—Survey results and event evaluations continue to roll in, but early returns point to attendees having assessed FTA’s 2025 FORUM INFOFLEX with being highly, relevant, informative, on the mark and delivering essential information on how to meet today’s challenges and succeed in an ever-more competitive operating environment.
Sample of what’s been said follow.
“Sessions are changing to include open conversations between printers. FIRST training is being taken hands on in person.” Of most value, “Project management & SMED topics.”– James Dye, Emerald Packaging,
“I enjoyed the smaller sessions and more topcis covered. … We the printers need to help ‘sell’ more to our counterparts and show the value. Many I spoke to said this one was great, need to get that out to the ones who did not attend. …I learned the most from the AI information—e.g.treating AI as a coworker/assistant vs a threat. Also enjoyed the trends session.”– Hank Welter, tc Trancontinental
“Great educational sessions.” Most important take home, “Learned that our industry is vibrant and growing.”– Gary Whitehead, Traco Packaging
“Really enjoyed the WOF events.”– Coleen Chapel, Glenroy, What resonated with her? “A hybrid press would be a valuable investment in the future.”
“I enjoyed the dual track sessions and found it to be much better than being committed to a singular track of presentations. There were times where I wished I could have been in two at the same time, but I think that is a good problem to have.” “I believe the most valuable thing I learned centered around the issues we are going to run into converting to more sustainable materials and how AI can help impact us in a positive way for our processes. “–Brian Graham, Printpack
“Coming from a CPC perspective, I could align the sessions that would best from my viewpoint. …I have much to learn!!! It was great to see folks I worked with over the years, make new friends, and walk away with ideas and potential solutions for projects I’m working on.”– Derrick Harmon, HillsPet
“You have the greatest minds in the industry in one room. Any question can be answered. Any issue can be solved just by walking around the room. …I made a number of new connections. The education sessions are great, but the conversations I will have with my new connections is where the real learning will take place.” — Zach Blackburn instructor, CPCC
“I believe the speakers gave us a true gauge on everyday issues and concerns. My most significant observation–technology is constantly changing!”– Tommy Hass, Fortis Solutions Group
