About FTA Technical Conference 2026

FTA Technical Conference 2026 is a focused, two-day event for flexographic professionals who want practical insight, technical clarity and meaningful industry discussion.

Hosted in Atlanta, September 30–October 1, this year’s conference will center on the work of FTA’s technical community, including progress from the Flexo Quality Consortium. Attendees will hear updates on key projects, learn from expert-led education, and connect with peers who are working through the same print, process and quality challenges.

A Focused Technical Format

This year’s event is designed to make the most of attendees’ time. Instead of a broad, multi-day conference model, FTA Technical Conference 2026 creates a concentrated setting for technical learning, research updates and conversation.

Attendees can expect:

  • Education sessions on timely technical topics
  • Progress reporting from active FQC initiatives
  • Sponsored solutions and technical perspectives from industry partners
  • Networking that supports real professional connection
  • Opportunities to ask questions, compare experiences and contribute to future research direction

The Flexo Quality Consortium is FTA’s volunteer technical research group dedicated to helping flexographers better understand the variables that affect image quality.

Through collaborative project work, FQC members help set goals, plan trials, supply materials, evaluate results, draft reports and present findings to the industry. At Technical Conference 2026, attendees will hear progress updates on current initiatives, including Slur Targets and Optimal Print Order, and learn how this work may inform future flexographic best practices.

FTA will also offer FIRST Live Level 1 on-site, led by Director of Technical Education Kenny Tucker. This interactive training is well suited for professionals who are newer to flexography or who want a stronger foundation in key concepts, terminology and production fundamentals.

Who Should Attend

FTA Technical Conference 2026 is built for flexographic professionals across the supply chain, including printers, converters, CPCs, suppliers, educators, students, production leaders, prepress professionals, technical service teams and anyone invested in print quality and process improvement.
