2026 FTA Technical Conference Attendance Policies
The following policies govern attendance and participation at the 2026 FTA Technical Conference (“Event”), organized by the Flexographic Technical Association, Inc. (“Organizer”). By registering for and attending the Event, all participants (“Attendees”) agree to comply with these policies, as well as all applicable laws and regulations. The Organizer reserves the right to enforce these policies at its sole discretion.
A. Accessibility
The Organizer is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities in compliance with applicable law. Requests for accommodations must be submitted 30 days in advance of the Event.
B. Alcohol and Substance Policy
Alcoholic beverages may only be consumed in designated areas during official Event functions. Attendees must be of legal drinking age under applicable law.
The possession, distribution, or use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited.
C. Badge and Identification Policy
Event-issued identification badges must be worn and visible at all times while within Event spaces.
Badges are personal, non-transferable, and may not be shared or reassigned. Unauthorized use of a badge will result in removal from the Event without refund.
D. Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be sent to FTA in writing by July 31, 2026, and are subject to a $100 fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after this date or for no-shows.
Substitutions are welcome and must be sent to FTA in writing.
No-shows are not eligible for refunds.
E. Code of Conduct
Attendees shall conduct themselves in a professional, respectful, and lawful manner at all times.
Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, disruptive conduct, or any behavior deemed inappropriate by the Organizer will not be tolerated.
The Organizer reserves the right to revoke Event credentials and remove any Attendee who violates this policy, without a refund.
F. Data Privacy and Use of Information
The Organizer respects the privacy of Attendees and complies with applicable data protection laws.
Personal information collected during registration will be used solely for the administration of the Event and for related communications.
Attendee information will not be sold to third parties.
Limited information may be shared with authorized exhibitors and sponsors, unless an Attendee opts out during registration.
G. Emergency Procedures
In the event of an emergency, Attendees must follow the instructions of Organizer personnel, venue staff, and security officials.
H. Health, Safety, and Wellness
Attendees must comply with all health, safety, and sanitation requirements imposed by the venue, Organizer, or applicable authorities.
Any Attendee who is ill, exhibits contagious symptoms, or otherwise poses a health risk may be denied entry or removed at the discretion of the Organizer.
Emergency medical services and/or wellness facilities may be available on-site. Attendees are responsible for seeking assistance when needed.
I. Photography, Videography, and Media Policy
Official Event photography and videography will be conducted by the Organizer and its authorized representatives. Attendance at the Event constitutes consent to the use of Attendee likenesses in Organizer’s promotional materials without further notice or compensation.
Attendees may take photographs for personal, non-commercial use, provided such activity does not disrupt sessions, exhibits, or other participants.
Recording of presentations, sessions, or exhibits in whole or in part, whether audio or video, is strictly prohibited without prior written authorization from the Organizer.
J. Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnification
Attendees acknowledge that participation in the Event may involve risks, including but not limited to illness, injury, or property loss. Attendees voluntarily assume all such risks.
The Organizer, its officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any personal injury, illness, loss, damage, or other harm sustained during travel to, participation in, or departure from the Event, except to the extent caused by the Organizer’s gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Attendees agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Organizer, its officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to their attendance or participation in the Event.
