The Print Control Wizard in the Grand Scheme of Flexo

Presented by Mark Samworth, Esko

Based on the principles of optimization from the FIRST document, Esko’s Print Control Wizard (PCW) removes the human element from the flexo optimization process. Winner of a 2019 FTA Technical Innovation Award, this software is of significant value when optimizing the multiple screen parameters of today’s state-of-the-art Crystal Screening. PCW replaces human judgement with computer algorithms to select the optimum highlight effect as well as minimum dot frequency and pixel size. Originally developed for Esko’s Crystal LED plate exposure system, PCW now works for bank light exposure as well. The value goes for beyond an optimized Crystal Screen.

Learn from Mark how this technology works in the grand scheme of the flexo process to improve quality and productivity.
