FTA 2016 Fall Conference Focuses on Producing Results

2016_fallcon-wtaglineBOHEMIA, NY – Aug. 31, 2016 – Producing results means that consistent action is taken toward achieving objectives. Decisions are made promptly. Obstacles are removed. It means planning ahead and knowing when to make adjustments. On the second day of Flexographic Technical Association’s (FTA) 2016 Fall Conference, this topic will be heavily discussed in a session dubbed, “Producing Results: Qualify, Quantify & Control the Production Run.” The 75-minute session takes place Tuesday, Oct. 11 from 1:30 p.m. – 2:45 p.m.

The session will explore best practices guaranteed to enhance quality and productivity through calibration, quality control and measurement techniques. Delegates will hear presentations on variables that affect print production and color matching challenges. At the conclusion, print buyer perspectives will be addressed.

Presentations and speakers are:

  • Becoming a Victim of Variation – Ann Michaud, 3M
  • The Color Match from Hell – Mike Huey, Siegwerk
  • The Voice of the Customer – Al Marquardt, Kimberly-Clark

In addition to this session and seven others, conference goers will have numerous opportunities to network and explore a sold-out exhibitor gallery housing 65 companies and their latest services and technologies designed to improve today’s print operations.

FTA’s Fall Conference, themed “Improving Today…Envisioning Tomorrow” will take place Oct. 10-12 at The Galt House Hotel in downtown Louisville, KY.
