Stephen Reinhardt photoCHARLOTTE, NC—Harper Corporation of America expanded the HarperScientific division and added a new position to the organization. Stephen Reinhardt has been named the first products specialist in this department, a position that was newly created in order to improve the organization’s ability to partner with clients regarding product application and technical support.

The decision to expand the HarperScientific division in this way was sparked by the recent growth that the organization has experienced regarding the sales and industry acceptance of Harper Corporation’s innovative products, such as the Phantom QD ink proofing and flat bed testing system. Vice President Jim Harper explains that the company wanted to fill this position with a candidate who is knowledgeable about the industries that the company serves.

“Once the decision was made to add the new position, the search pointed to Stephen as the best possible candidate for the job,” comments Harper. Reinhardt has been a part of the Harper family for nearly 20 years, and through this experience he has worked in several facets of the flexographic industry. He holds FIRST certification as an implementation specialist and, for the past six years, Reinhardt has served on the GraphicSolutions team, which allowed him to travel to meet with clients and support their anilox needs. The experience that he has accumulated in this role has allowed him to finely tune his ability to train anilox users regarding the care and maintenance of their equipment. Reinhardt is excited to take this next step in his career and looks forward to supporting the needs of Harper Corporation’s clients with his ability to help them improve pressroom productivity.
