SLAGELSE, Denmark—Danish press manufacturer Nilpeter has made major enhancements to its digital product line, PANORAMA. The Nilpeter PANORAMA update includes a complete redesign of the PANORAMA’s converting and flexo printing units as well as a major update of the press software. The digital hybrid configurations cover a wide and varied spectrum of customer needs and requirements—from standalone, to all round, and value added PANORAMA hybrids.
The PANORAMA was a major attraction at Labelexpo Europe 2015, and with the new enhancements and upgrades being made, Nilpeter’s digital product line should garner plenty of attention at this year’s show, as usual taking place at Brussels Expo in the Belgian capital, from Sept. 25 – 28.
“There is no single technology that can cover all applications. This factor reflects the complexity of the label and packaging printing markets. Nilpeter has always been an advocate of ‘combination printing’ and has spearheaded technologies that bring together all the different processes for the optimum results. Now, with the improved PANORAMA, we can deliver highly reliable and productive digital printing and finishing applications, using automation systems, creating results that meet brand owners’ expectations,” said Jakob Landberg, sales and marketing director, Nilpeter A/S.
“Equally important, and further adding to Jakob’s comment, a big part of our strength lies in our ability to create, optimize and integrate production solutions for any tasks our customers may require. That is why all PANORAMA configurations are completely modular, and can be installed, modified, and expanded at any time, even at a later stage, if the customer needs a different workflow,” Gernot Schneider, digital product manager, Nilpeter A/S, concluded.
Nilpeter has reported several sales of the PANORAMA since the launch at Labelexpo Europe 2015: Among others to IKONPRINT in Denmark, Bidone Etichette in Italy, The Printing Plant in Cincinnati, OH, and most recently, a number of complete digital hybrid solutions to a large European label manufacturer. IKONPRINT’s PANORAMA has been used to produce around 500,000 wristbands for Bakken Amusement Park outside of Copenhagen, Denmark, as well as labels for Braunstein’s organic Easter beer. In Italy, Bidone Etichette has ramped up its capacity without compromising quality, producing large quantities of labels, mainly for the wine and food sectors, to both local and international customers.
In Cincinnati, The Printing Plant serves customers in the grocery, fast food, data capture and automotive industries, with their Nilpeter digital press.
